Who We Are
We’re Yannick, Dorianne, Elias and James, a Belgian family trading city life for the wild Arctic North.
In the summer of 2026, we’re leaving behind the noise and rush of the city to build our dream: FamiLYS, a place for families who want to unplug and reconnect, just like we did. We’ve seen both sides of life: the busy days, endless to-do lists and crowded streets, but also the quiet moments when nature reminds you what truly matters.
Here in Northern Norway, we find peace in the stillness, the snow, the fresh air and the vast open skies. It slows us down and watching our kids blossom in this freedom is pure magic. At FamiLYS, we want other families to feel that same calm. To sit by the fire while the Northern Lights dance overhead. To wake up to the beauty of fresh snow and perhaps even spot a moose wandering through the landscape.
